In Willemstad you'll find our beautiful and natural port, Schottegat. The channel to the port (the Sint Anna Bay) divides Willemstad into two districts: Punda and Otrobanda. Since 1886 they are connected by the Queen Emma Bridge (pontoon bridge). The pontoon bridge is only accessible for cyclists and pedestrians. When the Queen Emma Bridge is open for shipping, you can use the ferries. You can sail for free between Otrobanda and Punda on the Sint Anna Bay. Since 1974, the Queen Juliana Bridge is used for automobile traffic crossing from Punda to Otrobanda.
